Three's A Crowd TH story ch30A few days had passed and the morphine had worn off, but not the nickname.  “Good morning, horsie.” Katie grinned at Tom.  They had been on the road for several days now and were on their way to France.  Tom banged his head on the table lightly. “Will the torture never end?” he pleaded to his cereal bowl. Katie rubbed his back gently.  
“’fraid not.” She sat down next to him and started on her own breakfast.  The day was uneventful. Tom was teased, Bill and Katie were closer and Jennifer was ignored. It was about 10 p.m., when a rumble shook the bus and they came to a stop.   Three's A Crowd TH story ch30

because it's 3 a.m. And now I think the humidity that’s creeping up on the room’s walls is also creeping up on my brain because my ideas are becoming soggy and I can’t make sense of them anymore.  They’re drenched in regret and I realize the humidity is my conscience.   
The light is off but I can still see everything clear. Your piano-playing fingers, your soul-searching eyes,. This stupid non-poetry is making me sick.  I wish that I couldn’t see everything when the light’s off because I’m seeing way more than I would like.   
The wind is banging furiously on my window and I’m matching because it's 3 a.m.

Why can’t some grasp that simple fact? Is it so hard to consider that maybe that certain person didn’t do it out of malice?  Just because you forget to call one FUCKING time to tell them you sent something to their house, does that immediately make you RUDE?  Sometimes, I truly, greatly, with all my heart, despise this world full of hypocrisy and idiots. Because that’s 99% of the world’s population. 99% of this world is made up of assholes who can’t step down from their shitty pedestal to – for once in their miserable little lives – not look down at s People make mistakes.

Three's A Crowd TH story ch29“...when we got her, she was in a pretty bad state, as you probably know... her ribs, I’m guessing, weren’t healed yet, when they broke this time, were they?” he continued as the boys shook their heads. “Yes, well, due to that, this time her ribs broke even more, and it perforated her lung, causing her to stop breathing, and blood filled said lung, making her spew out that blood. Which I’m sure you witnessed...”  
 
The waves of tension were just rolling off of the three boys.
